This Strategic Plan has not been developed out of a vacuum but is the fruit of the Lord’s work on the hearts of so many of His children through the years.  Influence has come from many sources, including the International Renewal Ministries, and the Pastors Prayer Summits they have spawned, for much of the theological perspective seen in this document.   Such occasions when pastors and church leaders have set aside their secondary differences in order to focus on what unites them in Jesus Christ have been pivotal affirmations of God’s wonderful blessings given when “brothers dwell in unity” [Psalm 133:1].   We are also grateful to the Strategic Leadership Institute for helping to sharpen our understanding of our calling from the Lord, for expanding our understanding of what leadership in the Church is all about, and for helping facilitate the precious friendship of colleagues in ministry here in Tukwila.   We are also grateful to our respective congregations who have supported us with prayer and encouragement as well as recognizing the importance of seeking the development of the Church of Tukwila.
