The Year of the Open Book
| When?: |
Fridays,
7-9 pm, beginning January 8, 2010 |
| Who?: |
Anyone
interested in participating in a public reading of the books
of Bible in chronological order in two years' time. We
encourage those who can read with expression and understanding
to join us, however you do not have to read aloud to
participate. |
| What?: |
We
will be using The
Daily Bible: In Chronological Order - 365 Daily Readings, Edited
by F. LaGard Smith. Click on the above link to order. (Note:
Please do not substitute with another chronological Bible -
this one follows a specific format that we wish to use for our
read through.) Each Friday we will be covering
anywhere from 4-5 daily readings in one setting from both the
Old and New Testaments. This will
allow us to keep up, even when we miss Fridays that fall on a
holiday. The last half hour will be a time of discussion. |
